This elegant hotel in Yunnan China blends contemporary style with awe-inspiring scenery in an evocative locale and is nestled along the banks of a sweeping curve of the Luosuo River. Lush tropical gardens filled with the sweet scents of passion flower and wild orchid.
Elegant deluxe rooms and sprawling pool villas are inspired by indigenous art, with private plunge pools, state-of-the-art entertainment facilities and exclusive butler service.
To complete the customization of this resort, designers need to have clear communication and understanding to local culture. Only when understanding their culture, the projects can be completed in a best way. The most important of a project, is to understand it rather than finish it.
Fishing basket and lamp
Fishing basket and lamp relates local culture to hotel. In Xishuangbanna, lightings should be alive which origin from nature. The style of bird cage and fish basket have shown the local culture.
Pendant Lamp in lobby
The upside-down lotus design at the bottom is the sign of Buddhism which brings immortal to the place.
In the lightings, especially the gourd flutes design which is a musical instrument of the minorities of Yunan. Designers was making the lights as beautiful as the music.

There are plenty of minorities living in Xishuanbbanna with different national culture. The lightings in restaurant are affected by the national culture too, like the style of fisherman hat and oil light shows the national culture fully. In this way, the entire style of the resort are shown.

Thailand has a reputation as an elephant state.The elephant is an auspicious symbol in the hearts of the Thai people.The Thai designer makes the base of the industrious and modest elephant, in the light of the lamp, blessing to the guests.

The whole room is full of Thai religious color.The modeling of the top of the wall lamp incorporates the fine architectural art of Buddhism, and the shaping of style is not lost on every component.
